Ukrainian green soup with sorrel and egg - ReCiPes


  • water
    7 cups
  • sorrel
    2 cups
  • the eggs
    3 PC.
  • potatoes
    2 PC.
  • bulb onions
    1 PC.
  • carrot
    1 PC.
  • Bay leaf
    1 PC.
  • vegetable oil
    2 tbsp
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • salt
  • dill
  • sour cream


  • Peel onions, carrots, potatoes. Cut vegetables into cubes.
  • Heat oil in a pan, put onions with carrots. Fry for 5 minutes until the onion is clear.
  • Pour in broth or water. Bring to a boil, remove the foam.
  • Put the potatoes. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Put bay leaf, salt.
  • Grind sorrel. Add to soup, cook until it becomes khaki. If necessary, add salt and pepper. Cook for 7 minutes, put greens.
  • Remove from heat. Boil eggs, counting half the egg per person. Dice.
  • Serve Ukrainian green soup with sorrel and egg with sour cream and dill.
