Wash tubers, peel, cut into circles. Pour milk into the pan, bring it to a boil, watch so that it does not “run away”. Add chopped hard cheese and minced garlic. Warm, stirring. Put the potatoes, it should be completely covered with milk. Cook for 10 minutes.
Put the potatoes in a baking dish, pour the milk mixture in which it was cooked. Sprinkle French fries in milk with grated hard cheese and bake in the oven for half an hour at a temperature of 180 – 190 degrees. The dish should be lightly browned.
