The best addition to steamed lobsters, crabs and shellfish is ghee. Following the step-by-step recipe, you can quickly and easily melt the butter and clean it. Serve with seafood by placing it on the table in small cups so that everyone can dunk in their butter. Sometimes melted seafood oil is flavored with lemon juice or chopped herbs.

Time: 10 minutes.

Recipes use volumetric containers with a volume of:
1 cup (st.) – 240 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml.
1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 220 gr unsalted butter

Recipe preparation:

  1. Place the butter in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over moderate heat. Boil for 1 minute.
  2. Set the pan aside and let the butter stand. Solid milk particles will rise up, and watery whey will collect at the bottom. Remove the top of the melted butter with a spoon and pour the rest into a serving bowl or a few small cups, trying to leave an aqueous liquid in the pan. Serve.
    Output: 1 tbsp.
