Daikon Kimchi - ReCiPes

You will need

  • Daikon, radish


  • Celery

    2 PCs

  • Base-paste “KIMCHI” (KIMCHI) from Sen Soy Premium

    2 PCs

  • Herbs for decoration (onion, cilantro)

  • Salt

    Wash daikon, peeled with a vegetable peeler, cut into thin wedges (no thicker than 1cm., length 2-3cm.).
    The thinner the slices, the less they should be placed in salted water and will take less time to marinate in the sauce.

  • 2.

    In boiled warm water (about 1l – 1.3 l) dissolved salt, you can use sea. Put the slices of daikon and leave for 3 hours. The water should cover the potatoes completely! Then drain off the water.

    In a large bowl the prepared daikon and chopped celery thoroughly mixed with the basis of “KIMCHI” (KIMCHI) brand Sen Soy Premium, close tightly with a lid or cling film and leave to marinate for 5 hours or overnight in the refrigerator (the longer it is marinated, the tastier).

  • 4.

    Salad daikon kimchi is available to rice, meat, noodles or potatoes.
