The chicken cooked according to this recipe is really
tasty, fragrant, in its own juice (that is, in the prime of life),
which produces both it and the vegetables that we put together in the same cauldron.
- Chicken thighs – 1000 g
- Potato – 10 pcs.
- Onions – 2 pcs.
- Carrots – 3 pcs.
- Parsley – 1 bunch
- Butter – 120 g
- Salt – 1 tbsp. l
- Ground black pepper – ½ tsp.
- Garlic – 5 cloves
- Spices for chicken – 1 tsp
How do we cook chicken with vegetables in our own juice? We start with vegetables. Peel the carrots and onions, rinse and chop. Carrots – on washers 3 – 4 mm thick. We cut onions into large shares.
Peel the potatoes, wash and chop coarsely, into quarters or halves.
We wash our, that is, chicken, thighs under a warm shower. If you got a whole chicken, you also need to wash it. We cut the chicken thighs into good pieces, not very small.
Add the meat, potatoes, onions, carrots to the cauldron. Add chopped
parsley, salt, black pepper, chopped garlic, spices for chicken.
We mix everything well with our hands from the bottom of the cauldron.
Butter is cut into plates and laid on top.
Cover the cauldron tightly with a lid and turn on a medium heat under it. After
boiling juice of chicken and vegetables inside the cauldron (you will hear it by the sound itself
it is better not to open the cauldron) keep it on low heat for 45 minutes.
Turn off the fire, do not open the lid of the cauldron for another 20 minutes. Then
put on portioned plates, decorate with herbs. We hope you too
