Xue Mai (XiuMai) - ReCiPes

You will need

  • Sauce “Chile Sriracha” (Shriracha Chili) from Premium SenSoy (if not, then 2-3 spicy red pepper)

    3 tbsp.

  • Fish sauce from Sen Soy Premium

    3-4 tsp.

  • Peeled shrimp

    100 – 150 g

  • Minced meat (pork or chicken)

    450 – 500 g

  • Mango

    ¼ – ½

  • Black pepper

  • Potatoes small

  • Tomato paste

  • Cream (or rich milk)

    150 ml

  • Rice noodles “Hu-TEU” from Sen Soy Premium (or Rice Vermicelli from SenSoy Premium 1 bunch)

    The purified mango peel and remove the seed and grind the pulp in a blender or grinder. If you are not able to find the sauce branded “Sriracha”, you can use scorching peppers, which have to be crushed (no seeds). Also grind the peeled shrimp. Clean the potatoes and puree them in a blender (or fine grater, remove the excess water).

    Carefully blend the mango pulp, shrimp, sauce “chili Sriracha” (Shriracha Chili) from Sen Soy Premium branded fish sauce, a pinch of black pepper (to taste), potatoes, egg. Start making round meatballs.

    So the meatballs don’t seethe, they first fry both sides in a pan with a small amount of vegetable oil in a well heated pan until small Golden brown (2 minutes), do not close the lid.

    Then when they are all browned, put them in a form with high sides. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Mix the tomato paste and the cream, pour the meatballs. Put in the oven for 7-10 minutes.

    While preparing the meatballs, boil the rice noodles according to the recipe on the back of the packaging, then throws in a colander.

    Peel the ginger root and grate on a fine grater. Onions finely shinkuem. Garlic finely chop. In a hot pan with a small amount of vegetable oil (1 tbsp) first, fry the ginger, then throw onion (fry until Golden brown), then the garlic and half a minute later sent rice noodles and soy sauce, mix everything together and fry for 2-3 minutes.

    Served hot with meatballs. When serving, decorate with parsley and sesame seed.
