Pork in caramel sauce - ReCiPes

You will need

  • Pork, flesh

    500 g

  • Shrimp large

    4 PCs

  • Soy sauce “Spicy” from “SEN SOI”

    2 tbsp

  • Coconut milk from SenSoyPremium

    4 tbsp

  • Fish sauce from SenSoyPremium

    1 tbsp

  • Rice vinegar from SenSoyPremium

    1 tsp.

  • The basis of “Miso” from SenSoyPremium

    2 tbsp

  • Brown sugar

    5 tbsp

  • Cognac

    2 tbsp

  • Garlic

    2 cloves

  • Chili

    1 PC.

    Carrots cut into thin strips, garlic finely chop, shrimp cleaned from the shell and puree them (with a knife or blender), the flesh of an Apple without the peel/pith puree them in a blender (or grated). Pork cut into small thin slices (3*0.5 cm). All mix, marinade for 30 minutes in soy sauce, “SEN SOI” and the “Miso” brand Sen Soy Premium fish sauce of the same brand (fish sauce is commonly used in Asian cuisine for the preparation of meat dishes; it goes well with meat).

    Prepare caramel sauce: pour into the pan the sugar, pour the water in (3.5 tbsp), put on fire and bring to a boil. When the caramel will darken to red-brown color, remove from heat and add rice vinegar, cognac, coconut milk. Stir to dissolve caramel.

    Mix with marinated meat sent to a hot frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil (2 tbsp), fry quickly, stirring with spatula – 3 min.
    Reduce the heat, cover and simmer 4 min.

    Chili peppers remove seeds and cut into strips (it is better to do in gloves, the peppers can burn your fingers. If you want less spicy, you can use ½ of a pepper or a quarter.).

  • 5.

    Add to meat prepared caramel sauce. Increase the heat and, stirring constantly, fry the meat 5 min. (to small of grilled red meat). Per minute until cooked add the chopped chili pepper.

    Pork in caramel served with boiled rice, for example brand Sen Soy Premium, a slice of lime and chopped greens. Bon appetit!
