Filipino stewed vegetables - ReCiPes

You will need

  • SenSoyPremium fish sauce

    1 tsp

  • Classic soy sauce from SenSoyPremium

    2 tbsp

  • Coconut Milk from SenSoyPremium

    4 tbsp

  • Green beans (freezing)

  • Shrimp

  • Hot red pepper

    Shrimp clear of shell and intestinal vein. Marinate in SenSoyPremium Classic soy sauce and minced garlic for 15 minutes.

    Defrost green beans at room temperature.

    Sweet pepper cut into large pieces (2 * 2cm).

    Rinse fresh ginger and rub on a fine grater.

    Hot peppers are peeled and chopped in a blender (or meat grinder).

    Meanwhile, we wash the carrots, peel and chop coarsely (1 * 2 * 2cm).

    We wash the mangoes, remove the seed and peel off the thick skin; cut into large pieces (1 * 2 * 2cm).

    In a hot frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil, quickly fry the shrimp with marinade for 1-2 minutes. Next, cook over medium heat: add slices of sweet yellow pepper, grated ginger and fish sauce from SenSoyPremium. After a minute, add green beans, coconut milk, a pinch of black pepper, simmer for 3 minutes. Beans should not be very soft (slightly dense).

    In another well-heated pan with vegetable oil (4 tbsp), fry the carrots for 3-4 minutes. Then we fill in sugar, mix well until it is completely dissolved. Caramelize our carrots for 3 minutes. Then add hot pepper, mix everything carefully with a spatula and turn off the fire after a minute.
