Quince Jam | Fresh Recipes - ReCiPes

Ingredients:

In Yalta, quince grows in the city. The Greeks brought it. Indeed, in Greece they meet with quince jam, as we have bread and salt. The recipe from the grandmother is Greek.

  • 1 kg. apple quince
  • 1 kg. Sahara
  • 150g water
  • 0.5 cup almonds
  • juice of 1 lemon

Cooking method:

Peel the quince from the core, cut into thin slices and boil for 5 minutes. Pour almonds with boiling water for 10 minutes. Cook syrup with almonds and lemon juice. Add quince and cook until tender.
