Homemade Orange Marmalade

  • oranges

  • apple juice without pulp
    650 ml
  • sugar
    600 g


  • Wash the oranges, thinly cut into slices along with the peel. Remove the seeds, put in a “bag” made of gauze, folded in several layers.
  • Pour apple juice into a saucepan, put chopped oranges and a “bag” with seeds. Bring to a boil, cook for forty minutes on a quiet fire – the zest should become soft.
  • Pour sugar, cook, stirring, for five minutes, so that the sugar dissolves. Increase the heat, the mixture should boil for about four minutes. Remove from heat, remove foam, remove seeds. Wait about fifteen minutes for the orange marmalade to cool. Arrange on warm sterilized jars, roll up.
