Refreshing homemade lemonade always cheers you up on a hot summer day. Preparing is incredibly simple. You can mix it in a large container, keep it in the refrigerator and enjoy its invigorating taste throughout the day. To prepare you need water, freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. In this recipe, all proportions are perfectly balanced, lemonade turns out to be moderately sweet and citrus-acid. If cooking for a home party or special occasion, prepare lemon slices and mint sprigs to decorate each serving of lemonade.

Recipes use volumetric containers with the volume:
1 cup (st.) – 240 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml.
1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 tbsp. Sahara
  • 1 tbsp. hot water
  • 2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 l cold water
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • Mint sprigs for serving

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a capacity of 4 liters. mix sugar and hot water and mix until sugar dissolves. Add lemon juice and cold water. Mix well.
  2. Pour lemonade into glasses with ice, squeeze a slice of lemon into each serving and garnish with a sprig of mint.
