This ruby juice is a good source of vitamins C and K. It also contains beta-carotene (provitamin A), which is necessary for beautiful skin and good vision. Drink your juice as soon as possible after squeezing to get all the benefits of vitamins. Add chia seeds to the glass if you want to fill your drink with even more vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids. They will also make up for fiber lost during squeezing juice.
Time: 5 minutes.
Recipes use volumetric containers with a volume of:
1 cup (st.) – 240 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml.
1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 2 medium beets, trimmed and washed
- 1 Granny Smith peeled and core apple
- 3 medium carrots, peeled
- 1 tbsp. l chia seed, optional
- Following the instructions of the manufacturer of your juicer, squeeze the juice in the following order: from beets, from apples and from carrots. Stir in chia seeds if you use them, and let them swell for 5 minutes. Drink juice immediately, adding ice as desired.
