1 cup (st.) – 240 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml.
1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 3 tbsp. premium flour
  • 1 tbsp. l baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tbsp. warm water
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Recipe preparation:

  1. Pour flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl. Mix well with a whisk, add warm water and mix until the dough begins to form. Put the dough on a lightly floured work surface and knead. Do not mix strongly. Then put the dough in a bowl and refrigerate for 0.5-1 hours.
  2. In a pan or pan, heat the oil to 175 ° C. Lightly sprinkle flour on the work surface, roll out dough circles the size of a baseball. Cut a hole in the middle with a knife (so the dough will remain flat when frying), put in oil and fry until golden, turn over and fry on the other side to the same golden color. The cake will be ready in about 3 minutes depending on the oil temperature and the thickness of the dough.
  3. Ready cakes are served with your favorite toppings, or put chili and cheese on them, then lettuce and tomatoes, onions, green chili, and you get Indian tacos.
