The rolled dough is baked until half cooked, then the cake is covered with chopped chicken in barbecue sauce and three types of cheese: cheddar, parmesan and mozzarella. After baking, the cheeses will turn into a delicious sticky topping, which is difficult to resist. A great alternative to traditional Italian pizza when you miss the taste of summer barbecue.

Recipes use volumetric containers with a volume of:
1 cup (st.) – 240 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml.
1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 1 onion vidalia chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pod chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Hungarian or hot paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp. ketchup
  • 1/4 Art. mustard
  • 2 tbsp. l Worcester sauce
  • 2/3 Art. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. l white vinegar
  • 1 grilled chicken, remove the skin, cut the meat into pieces
  • 1 pack (400 gr.) Of ready-made pizza dough
  • 0.5 tbsp. grated cheddar
  • 1/4 Art. grated parmesan
  • 220 gr mozzarella from buffalo milk torn into pieces of 2-5 cm.

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  2. Pour olive oil into a saucepan, heat over medium heat and add onions and jalapenos. Salt and pepper and fry, stirring, until onion is transparent and soft, about 10 minutes. Add garlic, paprika, thyme and oregano, mix well and fry until aromatic. Add ketchup, mustard, Worcester sauce, brown sugar and vinegar. Raise the heat to moderately strong and simmer at low boil, stirring quickly to distribute everything evenly. Reduce heat and add chopped chicken. Stir to coat the whole chicken with sauce, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In the meantime, roll out the dough in accordance with the instructions on the packaging and place it on a rectangular baking sheet with non-stick coating. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 7 minutes.
  4. Remove the cake from the oven and, stepping back from the edges of 2.5 cm., Evenly spread the chicken on top in the barbecue sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheddar, parmesan and mozzarella in that order. Put the pizza in the oven and bake until the mozzarella is bubbly and the edges of the cake are browned, about 6-11 minutes. Remove the pizza from the oven and place on a cutting board. Let cool for a few minutes, chop and serve.
